I don’t pretend to be a Kahuna, but I was so honored to do an intensive training many years ago with Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len, the amazing Hawaiian teacher and Master who brought Ho’oponopono into prominence. He is quite elderly now and has completely retired, so I am so happy to be able to bring his teachings to you.
The word “ho’o” means “cause” in Hawaiian, while “ponopono” means “perfection.” The term “ho’oponopono” can be translated as “correct a mistake” or “make it right.”
I’ll be giving you all the background information on this amazing process on how and why it works, plus I’ll teach you how to do it – it’s so easy, but so powerful!
This is one of the most powerful processes I’ve ever used for healing relationships, but it can also do so many other things, including reducing stress, relieving yourself of bad memories and improving your overall well being.

That pretty much sums it up. The Peru trip is amazing, fantastic, wonderful and incredible. Each year I struggle with trying to find the words that will truly convey all that it is and I feel like I never truly capture it, because it is so incredibly amazing.
And there is something in the air about this trip!
It was such a bummer that we had to cancel this year’s trip in June because of the pandemic and it felt so strange to not got to Peru this year. Even though we haven’t even officially announced the trip until right now (it’s just been up on our website), already 3 people have signed up for the trip!!
It’s kind of amazing — the 2021 Egypt trip almost completely sold out in about two weeks (we only have 4 spots left), is that what will happen with this trip?

Why is it our trip to Peru so fantastic? Here are just a few of the reasons:
Jorge – We are in Peru for 2 weeks with our incredible shaman and guide, Jorge Luis Delgado. Every year people say that they feel sorry for people who go to Peru without being with Jorge. It’s just not the same experience.
Life-changing – The ceremonies, being with Jorge, being with other like-minded people, is transformational and life-changing.
Everything is taken care of for you. I’ve been doing this trip since 2004 and I have to say, it’s pretty much perfect. We have everything meticulously planned and flawlessly executed. You don’t have to think about anything, just the transformations you’re having. We handle everything else.

We see parts of Peru that other tourists don’t see. We see the important places in Peru — Machu Picchu, Ollantaytambo, Lake Titicaca, Pisac, the Sacred Valley — but Jorge also takes us to out of the way places that the typical tourist doesn’t see. In particular the Doorway of Aramu Muru, which was discovered by Jorge (and which he discusses in his book “Andean Awakenings”).
We are at Machu Picchu for three days – this is important because of the changes. So many other tours only go to Machu Picchu for one day, which I find almost unbelievable and so sad. They take the train, run around for a few hours and leave. Let me tell you, that is NOT the way to experience Machu Picchu.
The fact that we’re there for three days has become even more important because of changes they started implementing two years ago.
In the past, your ticket allowed you to be at Machu Picchu all day. Now, the Peruvian government has changed it so that you are there in the morning or the afternoon, you are not allowed to be there all day.
On our tour, the first day we will be there for the afternoon.
The next day, we will get up at dawn to be there at 6 am so that we can do sunrise ceremony. The next day we will also get up as early as possible so that we can spend the entire morning there. We want everyone to be able to luxuriate in their experience of Machu Picchu.
We’ll be at Machu Picchu on the Solstice! This is one of the most powerful times of the year and we’ll be doing ceremony at sunrise on that special day.
We have so much fun! We do so many amazing, incredible, fun things, in addition to all the beautiful and uplifting spiritual things we do. The shopping is incredible. We go to one of my favorite restaurants in the world, Indio Feliz in Aguas Calientes, and we see so many special places, including the compound and workshop of Seminario, a world famous master of ceramics. He’s a dear friend of Jorge’s and we get to visit with him on almost every trip.
The trip is 100% refundable up to April 1, 2021 so that any deposits or other funds you have placed, will be completely refundable, no questions asked.
As of April 1, we have to send all funds to Peru for air, hotels and other land costs. Before I came to Sedona for the first time, I had read a zillion books, I had gone to therapy, and I had gone to bunches of group retreats, conferences and workshops. I think many of you know that I was a divorce attorney for over 20 years before I started Sedona Soul Adventures. One of the things that I’m proudest of is that I’ve now spent the last 20 years helping people stay together. And these past few weeks have just been so incredible and such a testament to the work we do.
There were three couples, and all of them were on the brink of divorce. Two of the couples came to us here in Sedona and the other couple simply could not travel because of the pandemic and they did a Virtual Couples Retreat. The miracle that happens with our Couples Retreats happened with all of them – their sessions made them realize the problems they thought they were having are not what was actually causing the problems, they realized how much love they have for each other and everything got completely turned around! And I can tell you, after being a divorce attorney for over 20 years, the cost of going through a divorce is so much more awful. Not only the cost of the divorce itself (which reports are now saying average $50,000 in the US!) and not only the cost of each of you losing half (or more) of what you had, which is awful and devastating enough. But the real devastation is in the emotional loss. Tearing up the family, uprooting the kids, everybody having to figure out how to do a new life, the loneliness that comes…it’s so destructive.
I can tell you (after 40 years of working with families) that some people (and some children) never get over it.
And to have the same thing happen with Teresa and Jeremy (not their real names), was just so wonderful.

Plus, we’ll be doing ceremonies and meditations, and discussing the alternative theories of who built the Pyramids, who built the Sphinx (and when) and why are there carvings of a helicopter, a tank and a submarine in the walls of the Temple of Abydos?
Having two hours of private time just for our group inside the Great Pyramid for meditation and ceremonies is beyond belief!
Plus, we just have fun. Here we are dressing up like Egyptians for Galabaya Night.
I love this photo, it so demonstrates what happens on this trip – having breakfast at the fabulous 5 star Mena House right next to the Pyramids, three people who didn’t know each other before this trip connecting and having a fabulous time, about to start another incredible day of exploration, wonder and awe.

I’ve been waiting for all the crazy in the world to lessen a little bit in order to make the announcement and then this week, I realized…
It’s safer in Egypt than it is in the United States right now!
So I started meditating about it and the minute I said to myself, “Okay, I’m doing it,” this energy flooded my body and it felt so good! I felt so excited and connected!
And then, you’re not going to believe this, literally 2 hours after I made the decision and felt all that energy, I received a phone call from a woman who lives in Michigan who just found us on the internet and she said, “I want to go on your Egypt trip!” She placed a deposit right then and there, and I just knew…
“Here’s my sign from the Universe that we’re supposed to do this!”
Then literally within 24 hours, someone who just finished a Sedona Soul Adventures retreat called me to tell me how incredible and life-changing it was, and then she said, “I hope you’re doing the Egypt trip, I want to go!” Okay, Universe, I get the message!
All of the information I’m getting is that the trip is going to sell out – our trip this year in February sold out in less than 3 weeks and I think there are so many people out there who are waiting to go somewhere and do something… and plan something to look forward to.

Some important things I want you to know:
1. I know some people may say “Debra, are you nuts announcing this in the middle of a pandemic?” I understand that point, but honestly, it’s safer to be in Egypt right now. They have flattened the curve and their numbers are much better than here in the U.S.
2. No one that I have connected with is concerned that Egypt will close their doors to U.S. or Canadian citizens, as Europe has. Egypt has always had a great relationship with the U.S., they love Americans and Canadians, and we don’t see that happening.
3. We are making this 100% refundable up to December 14, 2020 so that any deposits or other funds you have placed, will be completely refundable, no questions asked.
As of December 14, we have to send all funds to Egypt for air, hotels and other land costs. If something happens after December 14, I cannot guarantee that I will be able to receive any funds back from our Egyptian vendors, so I highly recommend that you obtain Trip Cancellation Insurance that will cover the pandemic. When you obtain that, we will deduct $50 off the cost of your trip, as $50 per person is allotted for trip insurance (medical, etc.) and that will be covered in your Trip Cancellation Insurance.

It was such a bummer that we had to cancel this year’s trip in June because of the pandemic and it felt so strange to not got to Peru this year. Even though we haven’t even officially announced the trip until right now (it’s just been up on our website), already 3 people have signed up for the trip!!
In the past, your ticket allowed you to be at Machu Picchu all day. Now, the Peruvian government has changed it so that you are there in the morning or the afternoon, you are not allowed to be there all day.
