“After 3 Years in the Darkest Part of My Life…”

I have to say, receiving messages like this just make me want to cry tears of joy:

When I first met Jhon, I was very concerned for him. His mother had come for a Soul Adventure and it completely transformed her life. She then wanted her son to do it and first I was concerned because when someone else wants another person to do an Adventure, it’s sometimes not a good idea. The person doing the Adventure has to really WANT to do the Adventure.

The Truth About Sedona

We have always been members of the Sedona Chamber of Commerce and this week, they sent us the most fabulously beautiful video, “Sedona Is Open.” It’s so gorgeous, you’ll love watching it.

Sedona is open and so are we!! We are wearing masks when we are in public and restaurants are at 50% capacity, but other than that, life is pretty much back to normal and our numbers have stayed very, very low.

One of our clients who came from the East Coast told me during her retreat this week that it was just so wonderful to come here to this beautiful place and to feel hope and joy again, and that it was night and day from where she had come from.

We re-opened for our in-Sedona retreats on May 15, and I have to tell you, the transformations that individuals and couples are having right now are just astounding. You can just feel it – the pandemic has brought out this deep desire in everyone to finally get rid of what’s holding them back so they can live their best life.

I love what Florida Mom/Wife/Chef/Taxi wrote about that in her Trustpilot review when she said “COVID Lock down was the final straw!”

Egypt Feb 15-28, 2021 – 100% Refundable

I’ve been waiting for all the crazy in the world to lessen a little bit in order to make the announcement and then this week, I realized…

It’s safer in Egypt than it is in the United States right now!

So I started meditating about it and the minute I said to myself, “Okay, I’m doing it,” this energy flooded my body and it felt so good! I felt so excited and connected!

And then, you’re not going to believe this, literally 2 hours after I made the decision and felt all that energy, I received a phone call from a woman who lives in Michigan who just found us on the internet and she said, “I want to go on your Egypt trip!” She placed a deposit right then and there, and I just knew…

“Here’s my sign from the Universe that we’re supposed to do this!”

Then literally within 24 hours, someone who just finished a Sedona Soul Adventures retreat called me to tell me how incredible and life-changing it was, and then she said, “I hope you’re doing the Egypt trip, I want to go!” Okay, Universe, I get the message!

To see the actual tomb and the mummy of King Tutankamun is so amazing. We will also see the treasures of his tomb in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. The Tomb of King Seti I is absolutely spectacular and Queen Nefertari’s tomb (she was the favorite wife of Ramses II) has been called “The Sistine Chapel of Egypt.” Very few people are allowed to see these tombs, so this is a very special part of our trip this year.

Plus, we’ll be doing ceremonies and meditations, and discussing the alternative theories of who built the Pyramids, who built the Sphinx (and when) and why are there carvings of a helicopter, a tank and a submarine in the walls of the Temple of Abydos?

Having two hours of private time just for our group inside the Great Pyramid for meditation and ceremonies is beyond belief!

Plus, we just have fun. Here we are dressing up like Egyptians for Galabaya Night.

I love this photo, it so demonstrates what happens on this trip – having breakfast at the fabulous 5 star Mena House right next to the Pyramids, three people who didn’t know each other before this trip connecting and having a fabulous time, about to start another incredible day of exploration, wonder and awe.

And to go on a journey like this with other like-minded travelers – it’s just the icing on the cake. Don’t be concerned if you don’t have a companion to travel with – our groups are typically in love with each other within 48 hours, making friends that last a lifetime.

Some important things I want you to know:

1. I know some people may say “Debra, are you nuts announcing this in the middle of a pandemic?” I understand that point, but honestly, it’s safer to be in Egypt right now. They have flattened the curve and their numbers are much better than here in the U.S.

2. No one that I have connected with is concerned that Egypt will close their doors to U.S. or Canadian citizens, as Europe has. Egypt has always had a great relationship with the U.S., they love Americans and Canadians, and we don’t see that happening.

3. We are making this 100% refundable up to December 14, 2020 so that any deposits or other funds you have placed, will be completely refundable, no questions asked.

As of December 14, we have to send all funds to Egypt for air, hotels and other land costs. If something happens after December 14, I cannot guarantee that I will be able to receive any funds back from our Egyptian vendors, so I highly recommend that you obtain Trip Cancellation Insurance that will cover the pandemic. When you obtain that, we will deduct $50 off the cost of your trip, as $50 per person is allotted for trip insurance (medical, etc.) and that will be covered in your Trip Cancellation Insurance.

“How to Fall in Love With Yourself” By Enocha Ranjita

I am so honored to have you do our next Masterclass on Saturday, “How to Fall in Love With Yourself.” First of all, because that’s just such an important topic, and also because of who is teaching it.

First, about the topic. I believe that loving yourself is the cornerstone of having a truly happy and satisfying life. If you don’t truly love yourself, no amount of success, no amount of money, no amount of anything else is going to make much of a difference.

And if you don’t love yourself, you’re going to attract someone who doesn’t really love you either, because the energies don’t line up. How can someone else love you truly and unconditionally if you don’t love yourself? So this is going to be a fabulous Masterclass.

Closeup Ranjita TSW I’m also so honored because of who is teaching it. Of course, I love and adore all of my amazing Practitioners – but I have a special place in my heart for Enocha Ranjita Ryan. Because when I came to Sedona for the very first time way back in 1999, I stayed with Ranjita at her beautiful retreat house and did a session with her that changed my life forever.

It was by a very strange set of circumstances that I came to stay with Ranjita and looking back now, I truly believe it was completely Divinely orchestrated. My original plan was to just come to Sedona and rest for 3 days; I wasn’t planning on doing any kind personal or spiritual sessions. But Ranjita sensed how unhappy and disconnected I was. She talked to me and I trusted her, and in that session, I received an incredible message.

For 5 years I had been meditating, praying and asking God for help and guidance about what I should do. I would hear a very faint voice that would say, “You need to leave your law practice.” My immediate reaction was always, “I can’t leave my law practice! What else would I do? I’m $50,000 in debt, I’m the sole support of my family, I have nothing in savings, how can I possibly leave my law practice?” So not only was I not listening to the guidance I was receiving, I was just completely shutting it down.

In my session with Ranjita, I received a message but it was very different. I started having a vision. Suddenly my High Self appeared to me as Isis, the winged Egyptian Goddess, something that had never happened to me before. Isis looked at me and said, “Everything is going to be okay, but if you don’t leave your law practice now, you’re going to die like your mother did.”

Ranjita did not say this to me, she facilitated the session and brought in the energy where all this (and much more) happened.

The message stunned me. I was exactly the age my mother was when she got sick with cancer and died 5 years later. I saw how my life was mirroring hers and I knew in my heart and soul that this information was true, that I must change my life.

I went home and within 2 weeks, $50,000 dropped out of the sky (eliminating my biggest financial worry)… I spent 6 months closing my practice, started coming out to Sedona to do my own personal healing work, moved to Sedona in 2001 (2 weeks before 9/11, Isis appeared to me again in the same room in Ranjita’s house and told me I was to move to Sedona) and started Sedona Soul Adventures in 2002.

So everything in my life with Sedona Soul Adventures came from that one session with Ranjita. She is one of my dearest friends and she was even the co-minister for my wedding to Richard almost 3 years ago.

She is one of our most remarkable Practitioners and she has helped so many people through her work with Sedona Soul Adventures. And as you can see, she has been a huge force in my life.

How to Feel Free All the Time

I love the 4th of July because it truly is about independence and it always makes me really think deeply about freedom and independence. And I don’t mean the political kind (although that certainly makes all the rest of it possible). I mean the true freedom and independence to live our lives the way we want to live them.

So what does freedom mean to you? It can mean all sorts of different things to different people. I like this definition –

True freedom is the ability to have or do or be anything you want.

That pretty much says it all, doesn’t it? But sadly, I find that when I talk to other people about freedom, they almost always immediately give me reasons why they can’t have or do or be anything they want. And the two most common reasons they give me are Money and Other People.

Now I will certainly agree with you that having more money does make things more possible and it certainly gives you the feeling of more freedom, and that’s what you’re going for – the feeling of freedom.

It’s a mindset, it’s a feeling and you can bring it in, no matter what the condition of your bank account.

The other reason people tell me they can’t live their life the way they truly want is because of other people. It’s usually a spouse, partner, girlfriend/boyfriend, child, boss, parent or someone else. Another person who is making it “impossible” for them to live the way they want to live.

Guess what? It’s just not true.

While it is true that we have responsibilities to other people, it’s your choice whether you allow other people to control your life. I’m not saying you don’t need to take care of your child, of course you need to take care of your child. But who’s running your household? Who makes the rules? When I was growing up, everything was planned around my parents, not around the children.

And I’m not saying you don’t need to take care of your spouse/partner/girlfriend/boyfriend. Of course you do. You are together to help each other be the best you can be. But does that mean giving up your own knowing and independence? I don’t think so.

It’s so interesting to me – we work with a lot of couples and very often there is a “thing” that one person in the relationship wants to do and thinks they can’t because the other one won’t “let” them. They don’t tell the other person, or if they do, it’s always in an angry, nagging way. What I’ve discovered is that when one partner can hear your heart’s desire from your heart (and not from anger and nagging), they actually WANT their partner to have the “thing” and be fulfilled.
